Last 3 week, my friend which I had helped her a lot offered to help me to order some products from her distant cousin. She has difficulty contacting her cousin, and I was trying to meet a dateline. In the end, we managed to get the orders thru..but she called last week. A little hysterical, she said that she wants her (4 units)aircons to be delivered to my house. After delivery, I have to carry the aircons n compressor to her house in my car. So, I was reluctant, I said why dont u call them ask them to deliver to urs as well, she refused. She said she dont want to trouble her cousin. I said, I cant manage to carry 4 units of aircon and compressor…its not practical. Then, I got to know that, another delivery be made to her aunts house. I said why not ur aunt? Ur hubby can help out also…. She got mad, she said comeon, I did u a favour you should return the favour. (then.. it pisses me off to hear that, all those times she asked me for soft loan at least 4 times and cheque exchanges…and did I ask her for favours, I just told her that, she found me too convenient) Until now, she still havent gotten a cheque book account. THus, I said, let me resolve it, and tried to call for transport. Then, I thought again and called her. Lets do it this way, when they come, u be around, I m going to settle and pay them RM50 or whatever , to get the items transported and carried to your apartment. She said u pay?, yes, I pay. She said ok.
I forgotten about all this until last night, she sounded hysterical again ..she said something like RM20 short. and i have to pay her. then she said, it could also due to the product code error. I said, i m sorry, i m outside, I sent u the mails at least 5 times with the product codes. I dun have it (details) with me. Its just RM20, i pay u back. But the way she sounded made me thinks, she wants the RM20 back. i called her later that night, do u remember, when last time, i computed. i told u there might be RM20-50 difference…but the code are correct. Can we settle that, later? the difference?
Seriously, i felt so shitty ..
Whilst checking for internet services, I thought of asking whom for advise… Godbrother.. no..he did some advise but not detailed enough, Sw-no lar, dun want to disturb him, then Batman, again.. resourceful friend. I remembered about the Favours, and I asked him.. I ask him so many questions.. etc. I just felt.. like owing him favour.
